Marketing in third party channels
We market our products and services on social media and in other digital channels.
To make the content more relevant to you, we use a method called “customer matching,” which allows us to recognize you in external channels. We do this by matching contact information — such as the phone number and email address you have provided to us — with information you have shared with the external channel. When you have provided the same contact information to both us and the external channel, we can link you as a customer to your user profile in that external channel.
Customer matching is carried out so that we can deliver our messages directly to customers’ user profiles in these channels. After the matching process is completed, the encrypted contact list is deleted from the external channel.
The purpose of processing personal data is to market our products and services using customer matching in external channels.
We rely on our legitimate interest for this processing of personal data. Our legitimate interest is to market and advertise our products and services to our customers.
The contact lists that are sent to social media platforms are deleted after the matching has been completed by the recipient.
